Classes Starting in November

The first round of group classes will start up on November 13th!! I am so excited and looking forward to the 3 brand new shimpo wheels arriving Wednesday. I have taught pottery in my home studio since 2008 but always on a one-to-one basis because I have had super tiny studios and only one wheel. I teach at the Clay HUB Collective Studio across the highway for groups of 10 students and will likely still do one class a week there a few times a year. And now for something completely different......once the actual wheels arrive this week.

It''s time for a home studio!!

We have decided to make a home studio indoors. This space is lovely and bright with large windows, hot and cold water and it will be a very clean studio. I will be posting photos of before and after and the work in progress shots as well:))

Above is a photo of my current garage studio (Ethan is finishing the glaze work on his pendants) that I will be taking apart and making into a beautiful home style studio. It's going to be a LOT of work and I am open to folks offering to help (a few have already signed up to help paint).

I am going to buy three brand new shimpo wheels from Vancouver Island Potters Warehouse so my home studio classes will be only 4 students max.

There's so much to do here, I will be posting photos here and on FB and Instagram of the new studio build but for now I have to make some mugs and butter dishes for Christmas Chaos and my open home studio show the first weekend in December.
